I have 4 conures, I didn't know sexes until recently... when the 3 girls started laying eggs. I've tried to look up info but can't find anything in regards to them sharing one nest box. Which they are doing. All of them have eggs they're laying on and seem to be taking turns caring for while the male guards the cage... I've had them about a year, first time they've laid eggs... (3 eggs in 1 day tells me 3 females. Plus they have a little belly pooch while the boy is flat)

I had female lovebirds do this together before. The eggs were infertile however. Im not sure how they will all react to babies :s hopefully someone else will have an answer.

Thanks, but yeah, that's what I'm worried about.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do have an idea. You could separate the females into separate cages and give each about the same number of eggs and switch where the male goes each day. I had a really weird situation where I had one male breed with two female lovebirds and had to do this. It worked for me, because the females would gather food for the babies on their own, but I'm not an expert. Plus having three different females with eggs instead of two really complicates it. I hope someone else comes along with more info soon.
