Say hi to Sonny. 22 year old male. Located Brush Prairie, WA. Willing to meet up to four hours drive. Will not ship. $5000 but willing to negotiate for the right home. Rehoming fee include all his very large furniture and other stuff. I'm in no hurry to just find him any home, I'm looking for his best home. He does talk. I call him my "closet talker" because he does it when I'm not in the same room. He hates most veggies. Sorry, I got him that way. He wouldn't eat any veggies at all for over a year. I still offer him them hoping he'll change his mind one day. On a pellet diet with tree nuts and fruit as treats. He loves women with glasses who baby talk. He likes my husband. He does not fly, his wings are not clipped. He loves head scratches and when you help with pin feathers. Does well on car rides. He is out of his cage daily from around 3-10pm but would enjoy more time out like he has on our weekend days. He does let us know at the end of the night when he's ready for bed by screaming. We do not cover him at night, mostly because his cage is just huge. We found it wasn't necessary, just turn out the light and he'll go to sleep. MUST HAVE BIG BIRD EXPERIENCE. Please DO NOT contact me if you have never had a large parrot. He is not a first bird kind of bird. He does not like showers or spritzing. Please no small children who aren't familiar with bird safety. He has done well with my children who were taught how to behave around parrots but he will bite if he's not comfortable. He has never bonded and is mostly annoyed with the presence of our other birds we've had. Does not like to be in bird room. Doesn't mind the dogs but again just annoyed by their presence.
