So Bruno has really come along this last couple of weeks. He will officially will be 16 weeks old saturday. He loves out of cage time and being spoiled.
He (possibly she) climbed up on my shoulder today. He had been climbing all over me and trying to remove the rhinestones from the collar of my shirt. I got concerned for said shirt, so I threw this fleecy top over it.
Bruno worked his way up to my shoulder and started preening my hair as usual. Next thing I know I feel the tail swishing that indicates an EXTREMELY happy bird.
He was so into that sweater, that I could slip it off and he was still swishing/humping away at it.
I took the sweater away and after I did that, he has been on and off my shoulder with no tail swishing. So I am thinking he just took a extra special liking to the fleece sweater.
Is it normal for 16 week old Cockatiels to exhibite this behavior? Just curious.
Oh here are a couple up to date pics of the stinker.
