There are lots of different types and sizes of conures. I think most of them are considered small parrots, but some of the larger ones may qualify as medium-sized parrots. For instance, the Pyrhurra conures are pretty small (around the size of a cockatiel), but there are also larger conures. I believe the Patagonian conure is the largest of them all.

Yes, I am in school at Colorado State. I will be applying to veterinary school this year and yes I plan to specialize in avian and exotic animal medicine
