1 year ive had Yoda now! ❤️🦜

Never thought I could love an animal like I do Yoda! What a year it’s been. Our bond is strong and growing stronger everyday!
We are inseparable He’s funny, crazy but so loving and always wants to be with me no matter where I go!

As I’ve had him just over a year He’s booked in for a checkup at the vets in a couple of weeks! Just for a consultation.

My parrot doesn't pick my nose. She grabs it, then laughs as I freeze up.

People who don't have birds honestly don't know what they're missing. They think dogs and cats are the only animals worth having and that birds are mean and bite, or are just for decoration. When people learn that I share my home with a bunch of budgies that fly free in my great room all they can say is "don't they poop all over the place?". Well, yes, they do, but budgie poop is odorless and less of a mess than dog or cat hair and litter boxes and I don't have to walk them!

AMmmmmeeeen to that! They're easier to care for than cats or dog in some regards. Sure they make a mess, but as you said, it's odorless, and seed vacuums up fast. My 3 parrots make less of a mess than my cats and dog combined!

Cheering for you. Keep fingers and toes crossed for disassembler gene and not destruction one. Then just routine birdie messes with a dab of minor reconstruction.
