The Rickeybird, 40-year-old Patagonian Conure

Here he uses bottle caps to project the winner of tonight's Browns-vs.-Jets game!
I'm going to keep track of his season record to see how his predictions stack up against various Rrrrrrivals. Last week, he predicted Tennessee, so he's
1 for 1
so far. I know, I know, I didn't get it on video, but I have my ol' man and one of his buddies as grudging witnesses.

Anyway, here we go! We'll see how long I stay motivated. Hopefully at least long enough to see those pinfeathers go away!

Hej Gail how does the RB feel about trying his luck with our Aussie Rugby League? It’s semi-finals week and there are 2 games, South Sydney Rabbitohs v Manly Sea Eagles on Friday nite, and Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels on Saturday, I’d love to see the results of his predictions :)

This just in!


By request of LaM, the Rb has agreed to predict the outcome of the Aussie Rugby League's South Sydney Rabbitohs (represented by an "S" cap) versus the Manly Sea Eagles ("E"), and second, the Melbourne Storm ("S") versus the Parramatta Eels ("E").
More or less the same method as before. I present him with the discreetly labeled caps. He shows his pick by taking the cap off the table and depositing it inside his cage.
Hey, that cage floor is't messy. It's just stylishly decorated with chile scraps and healthy poops!

As you can see, the Rabbitohs and Storm will emerge victorious!

We have left the pigskin national and college events also, and only watch the local high school games. Far more enjoyable.
Now, "Aussie Rugby League" play could be of interest...
 
Well well well, the Great Oracle Rickeybird has spoken! We now wait with bated breath for the games’ outcomes!

But baseball isn't even over yet! I'm not a big fan of either sports but I'd like to know RB's predictions when the World Series starts. I'm pretty sure the Yankme's will be one of the teams.

Under scrutiny below... the Browns vs. the Rams...Sunday, 9-22, 8:20 p.m.

Sadly for us here in Cleveland, the Rams will emerge victorious!

The Rickeybird’s perfect record remains intact, Melbourne Storm are victorious!

At what point will the Rickster’s all-seeing abilities become recognised as a genuine phenomenon?!
 
This is not right.
Even if he never calls another game correctly, he has invaded one of the few strongholds of traditional masculinity left to me around this place, namely sports.
Tomorrow night, my Cleveland Browns will defend the Homeland against the invading Los Angeles Rams. But instead of putting my full vibes behind my team, I'll be distracted by wondering if the Bird predicted correctly.
This is not right.
Extra portions of beer will be required.

Well, well, well... the poor ol' Hometown Browns fell to the marrauding Rams, bringing the Rickeybird's success statistic to 5 outta 5 (including his foray into Aussie Rugby).

The next game --- Browns at Baltimore, Sunday the 29th!
 
Does the Great Oracle Rickeybird care to try and make it 7 from 7?

This week’s semi-final lineup sees the Canberra Raiders against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Friday nite and the Sydney Roosters v Melbourne Storm on Saturday.

I look forward to more wailing and lamentations from Rival as he cries into his beer! Again!!

The Oracle is ON it!

He has communicated to me via channeling that he may decide to predict incorrectly, just for fun, or to play with a certain HATER, thus defying all attempts at external limitation. Again, he will claim superiority no matter what.
