[FONT=&quot]Our Amazon CEO Julio, requested that I announce the opening of the October's POTM Contest! He has demanded that the Theme not be just Trick or Treat, but be more inclusive with a more International favor! So, in addition to Trick or Treat, you are welcome to include the many diverse events that occur in October in your area. Some other examples are: Sweetest Day or your Parrot enjoying the change in Weather in your region of this huge World.

[FONT=&quot]We encourage everyone to enter this month! If your parrot doesn't mind wearing a costume, by all means dress your little sweetest up for a photo shoot. If your parrot prefers to wear feathers only there's still every reason to enter as you may use props or even photoshop your photos this month. Be creative, use your imagination, the choice is your's (more correctly your parrot's). Please keep safety in mind during photo shoots and wardrobe changes.

'Just For Fun' photos are always welcome, but please designate a single photo as your ‘Official Entry.’ Julio doesn't want any other Parrots or Humans to feel left out during October so he is inviting the family to enter either an ‘Official Entry’ or a ‘Just For Fun’ photos! [/FONT]

- This Month’s contest opens October 1 and continues until mid-morning EST, October 28. A Poll will be posted October 29 and end the evening of October 31. The Winner will be announced November 1.
- The Winner will receive a Premium Membership for one year (username highlighted in Green) and the photo will adorn the Forum’s Front Page for the Month of November and December.
- If you Post more than one image, please designate a single photo as your Entry and the other(s) as Just For Fun!!!
- Photoshopped or Manipulated works are eligible!
- Videos are welcomed, but please remember to keep them under 60 seconds.
- Please keep in mind that we have a large number of Junior Members and the need to keep the subject matter appropriate for all ages.
- Please keep Safety in mind as you consider the many likely Photo opportunities, whether inside or outside. We urge you to be extra careful considering the settling. Example: Not with Prey Animals or settings that could be considered dangerous. Doing so will result in the removal of your Entry.

PARKER!!! Been way too long since we've been treated to a Parker sighting, Chris! Loving the thoughtful contemplation of nature thing he has going on, there. And I agree, the bar has been set quite high!

I expected, since it is the World Animal Day (4 Okt), it would be about overdoing the spoiling of the parrots and other pets (but you've probably already done that one to death) ... yup, still a newbie here

Honestly, It’s because He Doesn’t do much worth posting, just usually sits around. Photos of him sleeping on my hand are not really post worthy.

Hello hello.

So this afternoon my little cousin was home (I had to babysit him) and in his school they have to start decorating for Halloween. His “homework” was to do 5 ghosts and 15 pumpkins.

I didn’t think I would participate in this contest because I’m not so good at photography, but when I saw that Mambo was chewing the ghosts and then running away, I couldn’t resist to take some pictures.

That’s why here I leave you with 3 pictures for you to see what he was doing.
I’ve written “official entry” and “just for fun”.

Ps: Pictures are taken with an iPhone X so they are not really good quality

Loving the entries so far!
This is the best place to get the funny and heart warming parrot moments! I love it!!

I didn't get a chance to enter last month..Its spring in Australia, and being a wildlife (bird) carer I've got babies demanding my attention. But will put the effort in for this month.

Wildlife is in quarantine, otherwise a baby/sunny photo would be ideal.
Otherwise perhaps Julio wouldn't mind a photo I have in mind where Sunny's confused heritage is displayed..
He is a South American bird, with Irish parront... living in Australia ha ha

Here is the Halloween cutie, looking into the crystal ball. What can he see.. feets!

When I get a chance there are some just for funs from the session.. ha ha

The facial expression in this pic made me burst out laughing! No one can tell me Sunny wasn't posing for the camera just then! Lol!
