Seeing all these awesome artist's on here makes me want to share too! Mostly I work with watercolor, or watercolor with some touches of acrylic, but I've been getting into full acrylic paintings now too... although those are more abstract so to say. Anyways, without further ado...

Circa college, one of the few I did during that timespan... its of a path leading up to Lake Superior.

Terrible picture of a painting (my parents have most of what I do framed, because that's what parents do... :)), but Snowy Barn, circa Highschool

I did this one for my dad when I was in high school as well, because he loves the poem, Stopping by the Woods on Snowy Evening.

This one is for my mom that I also did while in high school. It commemorates my Aunt Holly (her sister) who passed away from breast cancer and my Great Grandma Ruby who passed away as well and loved Cardinals.

This one is my second most recent one, done last November of my recently passed away Tiel Louie Bird. It's from the last picture I took of her. :)

And then my current work in progress... It'll change immensely before it's done, but just thought I'd share.

Thanks for looking, I'm usually not so open about my work, too self conscious about it all, especially what I write... but anyways. Have most fantastic Friday and weekend!

Laura, I think all your pictures are gorgeous! I absolutely love the one of Louie Bird. My next fav is the snowy barn. You are very talented, thank you so much for sharing with us!

Very cool!! I love seeing people's different styles and medium use. :)
I'm excited to see how the work in progress will turn out! Of course you've got to update us when you're done. :)

I am just amazed at the artwork we've been seeing here lately!! Everyone is so talented.

Very nice:) I love the cabin and the cockatiel.

The members on here sure are a talented bunch!

Oh wow, what amazing work. I LOVE the cardinal picture and the old barn and the man in the buggy. Oh what the heck, I love them all.

Sweet! My favorite is the one with the cockatiel! There's just something about that one in particular. No need to be self-conscious here, Laura. keep those pics coming!

What wonderful way to be creative! I'm so jealous! I can't even paint a wall one color. Nice work!

You all are too kind. :) Thank you. So much. I really love the Louie Bird one too... probably for emotional biased reasons, but all of the others ones hold a special piece of my heart. :) That Cardinal painting took me about 4-5 months to finish if you can believe that. I slaved away on every single leaf and minor detail. But Louie's was done within a hour. That eagle one has been sitting like that for awhile because my other half Corbin, told me to slow down or else it'd look sloppy. Haven't touched it since. Ha. But I have a feeling that all your alls kind words might just be the motivation to finish. :D Thank you again!

I can't wait to see it once you are finished! You must share with us:)

You are very talented. Paint from your heart just as you have been. Never let anyone discourage you. Don't wait for your muse, start without him, he'll show up later. Can't wait to see more of your beautiful work.
