I swear, no matter what I do, I always fall in love with a lovebird...
On Tuesday of this week I was backing out of my drive way to head to work, when I heard a familiar chirp (like one of my lovebirds was outside). I pulled over and just started looking around and out of the corner of my eye, I see a little orange and green head pop up.
it was a little lovebird
So I took her inside and shoved her in a carry cage that I have and went to work.
It's been 3 days now since having her and I made a promise NOT to keep her.
(I've been in touch with a Senegal breeder about getting a baby in the next few months)
But how can you resist this bird when she's been out in the wild for 2 weeks (I asked around the neighbourhood) and currently sitting on your arm soaking herself in your glass of water ?!
I must resist the lovebird temptation...
