As it would go, I head to the dollar store this afternoon for a couple containers for the bajillion small toy parts I *already* have, and come home with all this:52::
Since I can no longer just shove this kind of thing in a bin, I decided to make up some new toys right away so I could sort out the spare parts (as I will need to be getting in the habit of from now on). I finished after Kiwi was asleep, but o boy will he be excited in the morning when he sees these beauties! I even used some cardboard (as I had been asking about earlier in the week):
Baby favors and some straw bits on an old rattle:
Summer fun foraging toy (plastic shot glasses, fancy straws, plastic beads and cardboard). He has to chew the pineapples and cardboard to get the treats out of the cups:
And for the *most* spoiled parrot- fancy "cell phone", jewels, money and chrome rims:
(He's gunna go nuts over these, all plastic of course)
