- Parrots
- Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
LOL Pfeeuw, they still have got it!
For some reason I was not wearing socks (it is still cold enough I want them) and Sunny was on the floor a few metres away.
She actually did a double take and sprinted towards my feet, beak open and (none too gently) folded that big beak around my big toe and just froze there ...
(I was already frozen in place, expecting the worst :11: )
.... and standing perfectly still deposited a nice bite sized portion of her breakfast right on my foot!
Oke...*relief* ... she still loves my (naked) feet!
Even after a long winter with mostly socks and sometimes shoes.
The weirdest thing: she can see my bare feet in the shower many times each week, but never reacts to them at all!
So only dry feet are good feet? :20:
(do I have very 'stimulating' vinyl flooring in the livingroom?)
Or- but that is more or less a given anyway- my parrot is insane
