stick em up

While Fargo was wet after his shower, he lifted his wings, so i thought it was a perfect opportunity to teach him the 'wings' trick.. When i blew on his chest, he would lift them up, so i said stick em up, and put my fingers in a gun shape, and when he did it, he got a treat..
We will just have to keep practicing after a shower until he does it when hes not wet, hopefully he will catch on soon

So if you want to teach your bird this trick, its easy when they are wet, i have tried just lifting his wings but he hasnt caught on with that haha

and! on a side note, just before his shower he was sitting next to me and i was helping him preen his pin feathers, he turned his head and looked at me and said ' you a good boy?' next mission is to get it on camera hehe

I'm getting an envy complex here. Fargo's learning a new trick weekly, his vocab is increasing.....just WOW! You go Fargo (& Tab)!

im so surprised how quickly he learns things, and he was a cuddle bug today!! he was lying upside down in my arms and was cuddling him and giving him kisses
it does sound likes he is saying mumma though right? im not going crazy? hahaha

Congrats for Fargo ! Now all he needs is a cowboy hat and a horse

Seems like when I try to teach Mango new words he ignores me completely, but if I say something I dont want repeated even once he catches on and goes with it. I once turned to him and said "Dave's in trouble" (Dave being my partner) and its his new favorite thing. Yet he straight up refuses to say "hello"!

Fargo is such a clever boy. Well done to you Tab on training him so well.

He is doing great! How old is he? I can't remember. I am going to have to get busy with Moses!
