Hey everyone!

I am about to ask my friend to get pellets for my Alexandrine on her trip to UAE. The shop doesnt have Zupreem Natural for Medium birds, only for large. Is there a significant difference among the two formulas? My internet couldn't find any differences. Can I order it for my parrot or should I stick to buying Veggie and Fruit pellets separately? My only concern is he will not eat the veggie pellets to the same amount as fruit one since he is very picky.

Is this the only make you can get hun? Lots of stuff that rings bells to me so would not buy it. Can you get TOPs or secondly Harrison's instead?

Agreed, zupreme of any kind really is a garbage pellets. I’m a huge fan of TOPs and golddenfeast goldn’obles

I would assume the formulation for medium and large is the same, differing only by size. If you are able to observe both packages or find a reproduction online, check the ingredients for differences.

While many varieties of pellets exist, and some are better than others, the "best" pellet is the one your bird will eat. I used to feed Zupreem Fruit Blend because it was universally loved. Natural, not so much despite great effort. Finally switched to Harrison's. Despite the dull grey color, it is loved by my entire flock and is widely considered one of the best nutritionally.

Alex used to eat zupreem fruity pellets. Loved them(though he would usually pick out 1 or 2 colors every month that were evil and that he would leave in his bowl and yell at), and he did well on it for several years. They were the first pellets I could convince him to eat. But then he was looking scruffier and scruffier, so I slowly switched him over to Harrison's. He now eats the high potentcy stuff (also veg, fruit, some seed, people food, etc etc etc. Alex is a total fat kid at heart, he loves to eat), and despite being over 17 years old, his only real signs of ageing are usually very, very slight. Good stuff.



But zupreem isn't terrible, and if it is what you can get your guy to eat, then it is the right one for him for now.


And I agree that the difference would be best found by looking at ingredients, though I suspect they are pretty much the same.

Thank you for the guidance everyone! Harrisons and Roudybush are available too. my main concern is that Harrisons atm is very expensive for me and isnt something I'll be able to afford regularly (also need people to make frequent trips to UAE for that). How about Roudybush Maintenance small?

I am very fond of Roudybush. I find it to generally be easy to convert most birds to, and it one of the more highly regarded pellets out there. All of my birds have it available to them daily as part of their dry mix.
