Ziggy finally making progress

Ziggy came to us last January 16. He has been pretty much cage bound unless I forced him out and that was only when I had to. This past week he has been stepping up to come out daily. Finally! He still gets nervous fairly soon after being out but I try to let him fly back to his cage after a short time. I was beginning to lose hope but maybe all hope isn't lost.

He absolutely loves plain old wheat bran flakes, we use them as treats.

He doesn't say much, you might hear "I'm gonna hurt it" and "good little baby"

Very weird. We don't know how bad of a situation he was in. He smelled so strongly (smoke and air freshener) when I picked him up I had a reaction to him. It took three weeks before he didn't smell. Everything we were told was incorrect so we have no idea. I'm just glad he's with us now.
