Zazu loves to unscrew things! His favorite thing to do is hang from his cage door and try to unscrew the little safety tab that dangles from the top of it. I found this toy made for "birds that love to screw around" - and he loves it. It's pricey but all stainless steel so it should be indestructible - which is what it's called - Frasier Indestructible PlayBox! It's got all these wingnuts for him to play with! Zazu gives it 2 wings up!:white1:

Looks like a fun toy for him, congrats on finding a good, Zazu-approved toy! Usually the expensive toys get ignored! :) He must be an engineer at heart - taking things apart is FUN!

Oh I love that toy !!! I have to get one or two of those for my guys !!
That looks totally awesome , and it looks like it will also satisfy my Yoshi's
need for "smooth" things , lolol. He gets mesmerized by them and keeps licking them !!!!
It scares me that he keeps doing that , but I guess it's better then other habits.
I want to have as many toys on hand that can take his favorite toys place just on case , lolol.
I'm glad Zazu is getting better about new things. How long did it take for him to accept this toy ?

I keptt the toy on a table in plain sight for 2 days then on his cage backwards so the bolt holding it on was inside and the whole toy part was outside the cage- for a day, and then i turned it around so it was correct. About 3 days total for him to not be afraid of it.

Wow , that is t bad a all ! In the beginning , it would take weeks for Yoshi to accept something new. If I positioned it differently , forget it , lolol.
Good boy Zazu !!!!
