Your Fids Favorite Songs

My 2 Fids LOVE rock and Pop . They especially love Demi Lovato and Maroon five . So in my room they are both on their play stand moving to the beat on Moves Like Jagger . I expected country , but I guess they went on me lol. When I stop they start chirping and hitting me with their head (head butting ). They turn into charging fluffy rhinos when I turn it off . I would be interested in which genres and songs our fids are interested in the most. They actually start doing little footsteps

Music is still viewed with extreme suspicion in this household. Prior to Alice moving in I'd average an hour on the violin, and regularly pick up my guitar or sit at the piano for a bit every evening. It's taken nearly a month to get her ok with the guitar, and violin still sends her into a nervous huddle at the back of the cage.

She seems to like me singing I Love Rock And Roll by Joan Jett, and Bowie's Life On Mars gets me some funny looks. Songs with Alice in the title get a regular outing (Alice's Retaurant is the favorite, and was instrumental in getting her used to the guitar).

She doesn't pay much attention to recorded music - watched a Paul McCartney concert on BBC3 the other night and she wasn't at all interested, and I've been playing a recording of some Bach solo violin work to get her used to the sound of violin but she ignores it.

Hahnzel loves Norah Jones, Beastie Boys, and the electronica elements of bands like Pink Floyd. Dancing to ska bands is a must.

some of my cockatiels in the bird room love One Direction, played by my daughter

I've played classical music on occasion and they sort of like it

Every morning my iPhone morning alarm goes off with the song "500 miles" and Kenji loves it, he often starts dancing LOL. Rosie is not a morning birdy so she attempts to sleep more as Kenji makes noise. Later when she's more awake Rosie seems to like up beat songs, if I dance like a idiot and wave my arms around Rosie dance with me.
