Your bird's most annoying habits?

Of course we love the little devils unconditionally...but let's face it, they can definitely be obnoxious! What are your birds' rudest, most irritating habits?

Sakura , being the spoiled princess that she is, ALWAYS gets her breakfast served on the kitchen table. (Since she flings and wipes it everywhere, the kitchen is a lot easier for me to clean up than her cage and the surrounding carpet would be.) Anyway, every single morning, without fail, she MUST wipe her messy beak all over my laptop. She waddles over JUST to do it. She knows she isn't allowed to bite the keys and the mouse, but she really wants to...so I think this is her revenge.

My tiels have no bad habits...they are perfect. :angel:

LOL!! Percy only does ONE thing that I wished he's stop - playing too rough and then biting too hard! He doesn't draw blood and isn't biting with the intention to cause pain, he's just testing, forever testing, just how hard and tough mommy's fingers really are He can beak my hands ever so gently but then he gets all excited and starts taking bigger bites..ouch! Its very funny though - when I moan at him to be gentle, he takes the teeny tiniest bites, thinking that they are soooo small, they couldn't hurt. But those little tiny nips with just the tip of the beak are super sore!

Trying to steal my food is top of the list for me. Bear in mind this is a bird who actually runs away when you try to offer broccoli or tomato to her... but sit down with anything not suitable for birds and all hell breaks loose. I've had to hose her down at least twice after she was so desperate to share my lasagna she ended up landing in the middle of it, and pizza gets a similar reaction. Worst thing is she's taught the cat to do it as well, so now if I try to move one of them out of the way the other will seize the opportunity to dive in from the other side. Meal times are no longer the pleasure they used to be!

I have around 20 pigeons on my window (daily) and the most annoying thing with them is that they fight with each other for food (altough there is plenty of food).

Ekko will not stay off the floor! Drives me crazy Darwin hates anyone she isn't used to (which is everyone but me and Reg) and does that shriek that could break wine glasses. Phoe jumps onto my shoulder and takes a bite of my ear every time I walk by his cage. Talli screams, just because he loves to get everyone else going. Xander is hard to get back in his cage. Slater calls me names.

The humping. My god the humping. Out if 3 birds (all male) 2 are humpers, and I believe my conure learned (thru watching) how to please himself from my alpha-budgie, Gadget. At least they found a release is how I look at it, but can't it wait until you're in during the evening when the blanket is on? Does it have to be in the middle of the room in front of everybody?

Kiwi is a generally good boy, and doesn't really have any continuous habits that make me angry. However, during his mating season, he does his horny dances and I really don't appreciate that too much. I try to ignore it, but really, I'm just embarrassed for him. Poor little guy has no decency

Oh, I definitely have this issue too with my pink princess! lol. I just put her in her cage at mealtimes, or else she's impossible to deal with.

Chili's #1 most annoying thing is she won't stay off the floor (typical 'too)- come heck or high water she figures out ways to get to the baby gate that protects her bird area, sliiiiiiiides down like a pink firefighter, and then proceeds to scamper along picking up random tidbits- and with a toddler in the house it's hard to keep tidbits OFF the floor
No matter WHERE she is, she finds ways I never thought possible to get to the floor

Annoying habits by bird...

Ivory.... throwing food and especially small bowls filled with fresh mixes

Cam.... he doesn't shut up, anyone who says a cockatoo is noisey needs to meet my tiny bufgie noise monster!!

My thoughts for Victorias birds, tho she may disagree

Monkey.... she loves to surprise land on me and nip something to see me jump, if a bird can laugh at you, she does!!

Monster... actually he's such a sweet boy, can't think of anything off the top of my head...

Loki.... he's still a baby, no bad habits yet he is a pain for not trying fresh foods...

Folger... not enough room, but his vampire bloodletting habits pop into my mind

Dante.... well he's a cockatiel, that's nuff said..

None:54: though I do find it annoying when someone suggests stuffing a pillow into my new birds cage while I'm gone so her wimpy husband doesn't get bit when trying to change food bowls

I prefer a hungry bird then a freaked out bird strangely enough....

So in honesty....

My mothers Ivory lands on my head which I find super annoying and her Cam just doesn't ever shut up.

For mine....

Monkey - bullies the other birds and I have to separate them all the time. I find it funny that she still likes to pick on my mother though....

Monster - is so freakin nervous and jumps from the smallest thing and I have to go pick him up every 5 minutes. And he picks on Loki so Loki can't hang out with the other conures.

Loki - wants to play when I'm trying to do something on the computer or steals my fork when I'm trying to eat...

Ryner and Rin - constantly think there's something on my face that needs cleaning...

Dante and Renji - always run away after they are out of the cage and I have to play catch the flying birds. Renji is worse then Dante.

Folger - I don't find anything annoying yet. Though I'm not fond of the biting...

Barney and Madge are bent on eating me out of house and home. They have eaten every edge on every door-frame and window-frame in the house and turned them into matchstix. They have nibbled the top edge off of my 100-year-old front door and severed numerous network cables, printer cables, radio antennae and the cords off all my holland blinds. Oh, and they cut off my doorbell, which used to play a selection of thirty-two classical tunes by way of alerting me to a visitor. Buggerit!

Dominic has recently joined the Beaks in their endeavours and has chewed the rubber edges off all my dustpans as well as the gasket from just inside the fridge door and the rubber hanger-jobbie at the top of my broomystick. The other day when I was rummaging in the pantry, Dominic felt the need to join me and then inspect all the labels on all the tins of fruit and baked beans etc. I thought that was cute, sort of like a slide-show for him, so I left him there for a while as I finished what I was doing. When I got back, all the tins had all their labels neatly chewed off by the awful old toad. Now, I'm in dire danger of giving the kids baked beans with their ice-cream or tinned fruit with eggs on toast! I dunno what the Hubster will do if I serve him up beetroot fritters!!!

I would just like to make it very clear that I provide all my birds with a ridiculous amount of chewing material, including cardboard, wood, plastic, paper and root vegetables. They don't have to chew me out of house and home: they just enjoy doing it!

I about DIED laughing...because I can relate! IT's exactly what I was going to say...the humping...AND...wanting to regurgitate in our ears! So SOO SOOO ANNOYING!!
