Hi all, just joined the forums
I am a prowd daddy of a Swainson's lorikeet, he/she is called Mojo for now (not sexed yet) Mojo is 8-9 weeks old and was bought at a crappy pet store with not much info on her origin.
Anyway its day 4 now and Mojo is happily eating with no assistance (wet mix, suitable plants & fruits),whistling, playing, hopping and pooping like a monster.
BUT.... Mojo is still crying like a baby, especially when making contact Mojo start to squeal like a pig and nibble on my face and hands.
Mojo loves the attention though and nibbles and cuddles ect all the way through the baby screams.
Attention seems to trigger the squeaks and crying like a baby. Is it something I need to worry about?
Or will it just go away as Mojo grows up. I don't mind but it but I feel so helpless when Mojo carries on like its hungry or lonely or needs something...
Any tips would be great thanks
