I recently got a parrott. Crackers is his name. He is an older bird I think, not to old, just not a young one.
for the past few weeks he has spoken lots of words, walks around and is getting to know us, but still skeptical, not sure why, perhaps curiousity. Yesterday we noticed he hasn't spoken all day. We got him out of the cage and noticed his back claw, one of them is snapped at the pointed part. He is not making a sound.
He keeps his eyes shut alot and has had yellowish cream feces yesterday a bit better today. He is drinking with our help, not sure on his own. we are putting heat toward the cage and he is warm but stays on his perch, but is not acting right, can someone tell me what is wrong.
PS, the day before he was walking around and I had someone in my home, but I am sure this person would never of touched the bird. How can I tell what is wrong?
Thank you
Linda
PS, I live in Maine. I have 3 Pomeranians and 1 puppy. We have a home in the city. His cage is by a window. We speak to him all day. He hasn't spoken since Monday!!!
