Hello.

Ok, so as if things aren't weird enough around here, Loki (our YCM) has exhibited a little strange behavior. Every once in a while she will peck like a pigeon. I've never seen her do this up until recently. Only for about the last week or so. She does it mostly at night night time, but I've seen her do it a few times on the covers of my bed during the day.

Anyone know anything about this?

That is weird...I have no idea.
I found this when I googled it, but don't if it would apply to her:

"African greys and sometimes other parrots will "chicken scratch" at the bottom of their cage or on the carpet. Greys in particular do this because digging is part of their natural wild behavior. If you don't mind the mess, you can give your grey a sandbox (or litter box) to play in, using clean sand from the toy store."

Ha. That's interesting. She wasn't scratching though, but just pecking. It's cute, but I don't know if it's an indication of something.

Who knows. Between Wingnuts barfing, and Knuckles trying to get me to mate with her, Loki needs some kind of strange behavior in her repertoire as well.
