most every morning i let our sun conures out to fly around...they love to test me...they know whats right and whats wrong..they know the places they aren't allowed because of their chewing habit...like not on the crown molding above the cabinets...no hanging on the top of door trim..(they love chewing door trim)...they can land on their cage...on us....or on an oak tree we have in out house...they don't ever land on the tree...some mornings their well behaved..its about 50/50....when they land on the trim i yell.."get off there" they look at me ...take off and fly around a circle...the room is 35x 28 so they can really get flying around...then the'll fly over on me for a while and test me again..then i say with a deep voice..get off of there...they look at me... i yell again..get off of there!...after a bit of this they get stop and seem very happy...when lisa comes in the room no matter what they go land on her ..they need her love too...now their both on me ...grooming each other...ready to go back in their cage ...tomorrow we get a new 14 week old african gray....hopefully these birds will like each other....
