Yay!!

Well, it finally happened and it was worth the wait! We got Remington Labor Day weekend and today I was able to hold him for the first time! For the last 10 days or so he has put just one foot up on me, but today I got both! I'm thrilled!

He actually had a great home before me( 13 years), raised by the same family since weaned~ I thought it was going to take longer considering that, but now i can take him in and get his nails, beak and wings clipped and a general check-up!

For such a big bird as Remington I would highly suggest finding a good "Avian Vet" if you haven't already to do the grooming for you , again congrats on comming this far with him, it will definatly make it easier getting him to and from, good luck on continued success
