I've been wanting to get a gcc and now my fiance asks me if I really want a gcc or a grey, well duh, who wouldn't want a grey over a gcc? so anyhow, I was looking at this cage for a gcc, would it also work for a timneh?

any input would be greatly appreciated :D
oh, btw, would I be able to house a timneh in an apartment w/o having to worry about neighbor complaints?

I have a TAG in a very very small apt. Most of the time she is not loud but when it nears bedtime she gives loud screeches but a cage cover makes her quiet again.

That cage is too small for a Timneh. They need at least 3 X 2 X 4 feet (91.4 X 61 X 121.9 cm). Bar spacing should be 3/4 inch.

I'm with the others, that cage is much to small for a grey. (And in my opionion too small for a gcc too). My grey's cage is 36 x 28. As far as noise, my CAG can get
pretty loud once in a while (loud beeps), but it usually doesn't last long.

My cage is 32 x24 and is plenty big for my TAG. But I have him out most of the day playing on top of it. in fact he only goes in it if I have to leave the house or we have company.

Hello....yeah 18 x 18 is too small..
This cage would be better suited for a grey [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0018CICCC/ref=mp_s_a_10?qid=1342801640&sr=8-10"]A&E CAGE CO 32-Inch by 23-Inch Dometop Bird Cage:Amazon:pet Supplies[/ame]

The cage in your link would be good for smaller birds but never for a grey of any type. Cages are better if they are wider than they are tall to give them room to spread out thos wonderful wings and go flapping. Here is a photo of my TAG's cage.
I
I purchased this Avian Adventure cage on Petco.com - their prices are usually the lowest. I just went to this web page and if you buy on a Friday you get a 25% discount. http://www.petco.com/N_10129/Avian-...enture cages&gclid=CN7K4cj-qLECFYio4AoduwUAAg

Yes, this is much too small for a grey. You can find much larger cages for only $100 or more. Keep in mind depending on how much time you will have him/her out, the cage is its home. There should be plenty enough room for exercise, toys, and to play. Would be way to cramped in this. Invest the money for a nice roomy cage. It will be worth it.
