- Mana the manic female galah; yet to be named male corella
My partner lost his job.
Now, provided he can get another in the next month or so, everything should be fine and go to plan. If he doesnt... well realistically we should look to move into a duplex/townhouse. Our current rental is too expensive to manage on unemployment (argh the thought of it )
I will of course be heart broken... I doubt I can take a corella to such a situation... and would no doubt lose my deposit and not be able to bring home my baby. Im pondering, if anyone has any idea for a bird with a similar personality to a cockatoo but of a larger size than a GCC which would be a suitable duplex/townhouse bird?
I lived in an apartment where they neighbour had an amazon and alexandrine, among other things... and it was his frogs that irritated me, the birds were quiet. I hope this doesnt happen, but on the off chance it does... what is your recommendation?
Has anyone had success with corellas in duplex/townhouse or apartment situations?
