I have been searching and searching for a great opera song for my little boy

I choose O SOLE MIO, as there is not much music, and Mishka will hear the words more clearly

I browsed the net, and youtube for days, low and behold guess who is singing it?
My brother Edmondo, Mishka's uncle

Do you guys reckon Mishka can sing as well as his uncle?

Thanks Di, I could listen to Edmondo all day. I miss his so so much.
I honestly don't know is a grey has sung opera at all.

I listened to the recording I made now, it is not too clear, I will have to download the words from the internet, and sing along with him, so Mishka can hear the words clearly........

Omg I can't pronounce the words correctly of O Sole Mio.
I was observing Mishka, he is more interested in listening to my voice than my brother's "sorry Edmondo"
I must find a song that a male singer sings, for Mishka

I will record me singing it, play it to Mishka AND sing along with him.
Then when he is ready, we will record both of us singing it together.
Might take a while, so watch this space.....

Mike you are going to have many many more sleeps before hearing Mishka and myself singing. I am searching so hard for the right song.
Mishka loves opera, that much I have noticed. Earlier we were watching America's got Talent, OMG there is a 10 year old girl, with the most beautiful voice I have ever heard SINGING OPERA and guess what, Mishka was singing his chords, we could barley hear her.

I could teach him Debbie Boone's song "You light up my life" but that is really a song for a female to sing BUT whatever song I teach him, he is going to sound like me (a female)

SO WHAT DO I DO !!!!!!!!

Thanks for the lovely compliment. I am even more confused than before. I viewed a few of Josh Groban's video's they are fantastic.
THEN I viewed a few of Andrea Bocelli, wow what a beautiful powerful voice.

Don't laugh now okay........ there is one song I am very familiar with,
Ave Maria. This song was Edmond's favourite, when he started singing at the age of 10. We used to sing it together LoL. Unfortunately I can't find Edmondo singing it.

I have recorded Andrea Bocelli's version of Ave Maria. One slight problem, Mishka tends to only sing along with my voice. Seems that Misha is a male, I will record myself singing the first verse along with Andrea Bocelli.

I want Mishka to sing at least one verse of an opera song.
