Parrots
Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...It was a crummy day here, dark, cold, and snowy..a typical winters day in New England  and I was bored on top of it all. So I decided I'd do something extra nice for the fids and make them a real nice lunch/treat.

So I scrambled up two eggs and added a couple small pieces of cheddar cheese. When it was cooked I put it in a bowl then kinda stir fried diced red, green, yellow bell peppers and diced sweet 'tater and cauliflower and added that to the mix. Then I added shredded broc, carrot and red cabbage.Topped it off with a few snap peas,a couple diced pineapple pieces and a slice of 'nana and served it warmish ( the kids like their grub warm). It looked good and I was proud of myself! :D

Well do you know those two so-and-so's turned their beaks up at everything??? Man,all that hard work and thought and love put into it just to have it thrown up in my face..

I feel for you, Jim. I've been there many times, I get to wear a lot of my culinary masterpieces when I decide to treat my flock to something special. Not your fault, your recipe sounds superb, ungrateful lil' buggers.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. Your question (why??) is spot on. The answer is far too commonly: Cause! Aaaa, Life with Parrots.

Ungrateful little beasts aren’t they?? I hate the kitchen, so it’s a rare occasion that I make something awesome like you did :). Your recipe sounds pretty dang good - I’d eat it!

I made birdie bread, I was so proud, none of my flock ate it, so I feel ya.

Thats Timneh to the T. She turns her nose up at everything. Unless its not good for her. Guess it pretty much like people. LOL

I’d eat it Jim. Darned finicky fids!
