Shopped for Black Friday? I went to one store and sat in line for 3 hours, but I got really good stuff!

But in line this lady came 5 minutes before opening of the store and I was in the front of the line. Maybe the first 10 or so. She started attempting to start a conversation with me, obviously trying to get in front of a line that stretched about 400 people or so. I said "Oh sure, we've been waiting 3 and a half hours in the freezing cold, you just got here OBVIOUSLY come in front of me." That shut her up, lol. Ah i like sarcasm. She still got in line though. A couple people behind though. Sigh. The downsides show....

Well, here in the USA, who went shopping? Online? Not at all? Just thought this would be interesting.

black friday is the day after thanksgiving, when almost all stores have incredible deals for holiday shopping .
OP- congrats on the deals, and quick thinking! i decided to shop online because i couldn't get to the mall, but they have some great deals!

black friday si when most stores have incredibly high deals on things that are usually more expensive. For example, all the tvs at my local best buy are only 150 ! when they are usually 900. we didnt go, but we are ordering TONS on cyber monday ! people die for black friday. At a walmart on Long island a woman died as she tripped and got runned over by a mob of rushing customer. she got pushed and pushed by the feet into a snack machine and got crushed by it.

I know!!! That was horrible! There are some nuts out there. Honestly, i will wait to get 50 to 80 percent off !!, but I don't run all over the place, not caring who I trample. It's so sad.

Sounds like the Boxing Day sales (day after christmas) here in Australia and UK. I avoid them like the plague, I'm not a people person. LOL
