hello, forum... meet caesar. he is a handsome white face lutino cockatiel with supermodel legs. he hatched (quite unexpectedly) in july of 2017, embracing a free flight and a social bird-type life. however... within a year he fell sway to the influences of instinct and took a keen interest in his mother. the father bird was less than pleased with caesar's incessant insistance, so the decision was made to alter caesar's situation. in june of 2018, caesar was whisked away under cover of a towel to midstate new york, where he received his first wing clip, a set sleep schedule and a gentle introduction to a "bicycle shop" lifestyle...
he's communicated his interest in continuing to improve his situation.
his desire to resume a flying life, is obvious.
his interest in girl birds, is obvious.
his preference for less frequent road trips and excursions, is obvious.

caesar, is not for sale (no money exchange). he is a beautiful critter interested in a new home environment and would appreciate assistance with continuing to improve his situation. if there is a member who is capable of providing caesar with the opportunity to enjoy a lifestyle more conducive towards the act of him being "a bird" (compassionate human oversight/care, flight capabilities and bird companionship - preferably female or mixed group) please reply to introduce yourself to caesar. i am happy to answer any questions.

thank you,
bookittyrun

Where are you located?

He looks like my male cockatiel Mercury, which love to pretty much dive bomb me, or fly on top of my head at times as he love attention and will even yell at me when I don't scratch his head. Pretty sure someone will come along and be willing to give him a good home. Beautiful bird, I looking for a female cockatiel to keep the balance and for my Wylie as he usually to himself as the others paired up.

If I were you I would ask for even if it a small re-homing fee just so you don't get any pet flippers, or snake food, or at very least meet go to person house and meet them. Put your location as well?

thank you. his disposition is excellent and his company has been a pleasure... he's a sweetheart.

he is located in sullivan county, new york

caesar has placed his request with the universe... we trust that his needs will be met in the manner that is best for him. a forum is an excellent platform for him to reach out to available options, all options will be carefully evaluated. there is ample time to allow the best solution to unfold and we feel his chances are better here, than with the pet store or craigslist.

Welcome to you and Caesar! He’s a very handsome fellow, I hope he finds an excellent new home.

I just wanted to say that Ceasar is beautiful and appears to be such an interesting little character. I've always had a sweet spot for cockatiels and I just LOVE the look of the whiteface lutino. IF I were to ever get one, I'm sure that's the mutation I would go for. Unfortunately, I'm too far away and am not in the market for another at this point. Best of luck!

Caeser is BEAUTIFUL ❤️ I would suggest keeping a re-homing fee to deter those who may just get him to sell him for a higher price. I hope you can find a good home for him!

Caeser is a handsome dude, that's for sure...Can't say I'm not tempted, especially since my lone Cockatiel, Duff, is a female...And I'm in Pennsylvania, so not far off...BUT I have other plans going on right now involving a new Conure, so it's just bad timing, otherwise I'd be on my way to NY right now...

Oh my word he’s a lovely fellow! I am captivated by cockatiels. Luckily for me, I am clear on the other side of the country. I wish Caesar the very best.

What a handsome young man Caesar is! Where exactly is Sullivan County? I live in south central Connecticut and was contemplating a buddy for my normal Gray BB.

hello, jim and bb.
sullivan county is south of the catskills. caesar is approximately 1 1/2 hours from nyc. he's made the trip from here, to southeast connecticut numerous times and he seems to remember hartford being about 2 1/2 hours away on rt84 (caesar prefers to exit on rt691 and detour around hartford...).

I am in Wallingford which is right off I-91,about ten miles north of New Haven and "maybe" fifteen/twenty miles south of Hartford. I-691 is a stones-throw away. Used to drive Big Rig up and down I-87 from Newburgh all the way to Plattsburgh :D with stop-off's in Poagkipsi<sp> and Catskill and everywhere in between lol. ya..Caesar's about 2.5 hours away from me!

Hello
Has Caesar found a new home yet. I currently have 2 Cockatiels and I have been looking for a couple more that are unique looking. He definitely is a beauty. I also live fairly close in Dutchess County.

hello, rob. yes, caesar is still looking for a new home and he is currently entertaining a few offers of friendship... feel free to introduce your birds, provide a little background info, share your thoughts on why you feel your particular situation may be a beneficial move for caesar to consider making, etc... i can see that during your forum membership, your posts range from inquiries to aquire various birds, questions on hand-feeding chicks, breeding questions, etc... how has your young macaw responded to the additional birds that have moved in? how old are your cockatiels and how long have you had them?
thank you for finding caesar's post... he is interested in hearing more about you and your birds and we both wish you and your birds an excellent day.
