Where to do microchip or leg banding on adults?

Hi all,

My avian vet does not do microchipping or leg banding on birds. . I am needing my adult macaw identified with something so that he can be taken out of the country..... Suggestions on who can help me, if my own vet can't? They didn't have any idea either....

If you give us your location (Texas is BIG ) we can possibly help you find a nearby avian vet who does the micro chipping.

I'm actually willing and able to go anywhere in Texas; this is a very important requirement for my boy to travel..... for his travel testing and paperwork, my current vet can handle all of that, but the fact that they cant help me with permanent identification has thrown me for a loop.

If I had a preference, then North Texas is where I'd like to limit my travel to do this. DFW area ideally.
