Hi all me and my wife want to buy a ringneck. But after some advice on where to buy from. I live in Hampshire in the UK and looking for a good place to buy one from we have found this plcae heathrow bird & pet centre that seem to have very knowledgeable and helpful staff do any one of these of no any other breeders in the Hampshire area. Regards

No not that place! Do not buy from there. I've been there myself once and honestly they are disgusting, all birds are clipped "to put them in their place" quote from the owner when I went, and they also sell birds knowing they're sick.

Your best bet is to find a good breeder through The Parrot Society UK. They often times have good links to better breeders. Or take a look at adopting a Ringneck from one of the many rescues throughout the country. Birdline and problem parrots are 2 of the top ones. Don't worry about them being older, they can and do still bond to people and baby parrots can and do often change personality a lot during puberty so you're more likely to find an even tempered one with a rescue. Your best bet is to honestly get into some parrot groups around yourself or on facebook and find good breeders through those means, ask questions and remember that they need to impress you to part with money
