What's the funniest thing your bird has done? Jack's best moment was definitely tripping on his perch and falling face first into his water dish. He shook it off and pretended it hadn't happened😂

Ha ha, I love that he was trying to be all nonchalant about it! I can't say I've ever seen a bird trip up! Though I do have very clumsy cat.

I haven't had my Bella all that long, but so far her underwater squawking is the funniest thing I've seen (and heard) her do :)

Sissy is my goofy little girl...she is always tripping over her feet or hanging from something. But lately her newest thing is to climb down to me flip on her back and kick her feet in the air. She then laughs and laughs till you grab her belly.this goes on till she gets tired.

That underwater squawking is just about the funniest thing ever to me! I'm surprised you haven't seen your bird trip though, mine have been surprisingly clumsy little fellows! Stumbling and tumbling to the bottom of the cage hasn't been as rare as I would have expected before I became a bird owner. Maybe it's because so far I've only had very young birds and they haven't had a chance to mature into full gracefulness yet.

So far there are so many.

The most recent was after a bout of misbehaving I called him a turkey and suggested he was going to be Thanksgiving dinner. He immediately flew off my shoulder and landed in the cast iron frying pant that lives on the stove.

(FYI the pan was stone cold. He's in his cage when the oven is on or while things are still hot.)

The most popular story over the years is probably when the Rbird called Santa a MAGGOT at a Humane Society event back in the 90s. He picked that word up from my ol' man. Santa was speechless. A little kid started to cry. There's a picture somewhere in the Scrapbook. The bird had a great time.

What a great idea for a thread.
I have to give it some thought.
The funniest thing my YNA does is imitate my wife spelling a word for me.
I am a horrible speller and frequently ask her how to spell some word.
When I do this my YNA starts helping out with Y...E...O... and he likes the sound of ZERO.

While on the phone with the vet, scheduling a grooming appointment, Hahnzel bit me on the ear. I said ouch, then she laughed. The receptionist said, "did your bird just bite you, then laugh?", I said yes, then she said, "I'm sorry, but that's hillarious."

The funniest thing is an ongoing thing. Salty's laugh cracks every one up, no matter how bad you feel, when he does that insane laugh, you cant help but feel better. The last few seconds of this video has a real typical laugh.

Nothing our birds have ever done compares with the video of the Rickeybird smashing the Demonball on the top of his cage. I can't imagine anything beating that, unless Gail can get a movie of the ball bouncing back and hitting him. I would happily support a 24/7 webcam to capture the moment!

I love you, Kentuckienne... I do fantasize about a Rickeybird Cam to capture such elusive, ethereal, eternity-relevant moments...

Heck, I'd pay good money to see that. He hates it so much, it's 'refreshing.

my oldest bird is a yellow female budgie named hellblaze. She has a huge ego and dosen't speak , she is 12 years old.i have another white female named snowstorm she is very hyperactive and can talk.she would always walk back and forth on a perch while talking to hellblaze and not caring if she listened or not.one day hellblaze got irritated and shreiked at snowy and she fell off her perch into the foodbowl .the funniest part was that after falling she went back to what she was doing very shamelessly.:D:D

Twirling around. Round and round and round. Its a cockatoo thing, and usually one starts the fun and the others catch on. First twirling, then head bobbing. I'll even join in just for fun. The difference is they never seem to get dizzy while twirling around, not so for the human!!

Lilly wasn't very happy she couldn't play in the water when I washed her water bowl - it was too late in the day and her feathers wouldn't dry all the way through before bedtime. A few minutes later I poured myself a glass of orange juice and she ran down my arm for what i thought was her customary sip. Instead of stopping at the glass she jumped right into the orange juice. Little minx found a way into that sink after all :)
