Sometimes my bird would look at me, after calling out to me it seems and do a quick head bobbing motion. Looks like dribbling a basketball. What's that about? Btw he finally took something from my hand to eat.

It's excitement, happiness, trying to entice you to communicate with them. Keen does it when she's happy and/or wants to entice me to play with her.

Lucy does it when she wants something REALLY bad haha. if it's a jerking motion like you describe it's excitement! (we called this dancing and now she does it on command :P) BUT if it's a fluid motion, still kinda fast but he's rolling his neck smoothly, it's a warning to back off! it's an aggressive movement. Lucy has only done this ONCE. She did it to my boyfriend when he got too close to her apple.... she got a stern NO and onto the floor to discourage this behavior. She's never done it again :) Bleu has only done it to me once and he was bluffing because he let me pet him and he went back to normal, I suspect it was because I was wearing a hat.

Lost me with that one. He does it mostly when I'm not near his cage so I guess it's excitement. He start jumping all over his cage like a mad person.
It looks like birdie dancing.

Guavo bobs along when I sing/rap to her, lol. It's super cute!

the basketball thing sounds like a happy fid :) you'll know the rolling motion when you see it, if you see it. think like a belly dancer? but the do it with their neck. its really wild haha

Puck does this when he's excited and happy about something.

Love the video! That bird dances better than a lot of people!

I tried going to link to his facebook but I got an error message. I think ill try again later.

My Nanday bobs a lot. She does it when she's happy, and when she wants something (attention, food, a new toy). She also likes when I do it back. Oh, and she bobs and dances to music.

She also does that soliciting/begging thing where she hangs on the bars and moves her whole body back and forth quickly.
