After her necropsy it was found that Rosie had heart disease, and her sudden death was likely caused by a sudden blockage in her heart :( I'm glad she didn't suffer, and that she was happy until the last 12 minutes. Lost my baby, but she's never forgotten and always loved.

I love this video I had made of her in the past, seems perfect for remember her

I'm sitting here, crying uncontrollably after seeing the amazing, heart-warming and beautiful video, Ashley!

Gosh, Rosie Girl, you were loved so very, VERY much! :smile015:

This is for you, Ashley -->

100% NOT PREVENTABLE OR TREATABLE...

Like my Peckerbird. It was just time for her to sleep...

Crying watching that beautiful loving memorial, how wonderful that you found each other I am so sorry it wasn't for longer but happy that Rosie got to experience so much love before letting go.

Thank you so much for sharing and for showing us what love can do.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful tribute to Rosie. She will always be remembered.

An amazing video, it made me cry and my eyes are still leaking. I'm sending virtual hugs your way. What an amazing beauty, Rosie is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and I hope and pray you find peace soon. It's so hard to loose a loved friend like Rosie.

She was a beautiful ,beautiful bird :) One of a kind :)

She was beautiful. It is so sad that she had to go. But i can see the happiness that she experienced in the time that she was with you. She was well loved. Hugs to you.

A beautiful tribute to Rosie! You can see the transformation through time that is a testament to your dedication and her close bond. She will live on in your heart and the wonderful images.

My tears were for the happiness of seeing a bird with what was obviously a bad life get reborn into a healthier happier bird with a wonderful life. Bless you for doing that for her, she got to be happy and loved and to know more freedom. It's obvious you took good care of her and you should have no guilt about her passing. You gave her her best years, that is completely obvious to us all.

Ashley, my heart is breaking at your loss. The video is breathtaking and a lovely tribute to Rosie's special journey. I'm so sorry you didn't have more time together, but Rosie left you with incredible memories and she experienced so much joy with you. I know you will cherish your memories of her always. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so happy you liked the video, I've been watching it over and over and over. I wS going I make a video of her for her life, but realized I had already made that video last year and it's so perfect.

Thankyou everyone, I'm so happy to have the best group of bird lovers here on the forum to understand how much it hurts. And also how thankful I am that it was her time, and that up until the last moments she was happy.

My vet is so kind, while laying for kenji's applintment yesterday and for Rosie's cremation she told the secretary to refund me for the necropsy. She is a parront and understands how much it hurts to loose them. she helped me with Rosie to get her healthy and Reminded me that I gave Rosie such a good life when she was with me.

On the urn I asked to have it say -
Rosie
Always loved - never forgotten
