Pics of me hanging out with some of the 'grandkids'... yeah, nothing normal here, but who would expect that!! And yes, all the birds are tucked away safely in their cages when the big girl comes to play.

This is Lilly... big girl, but still really not much more then a baby. She had moments of being grumpy, but is much much more tolerant. She had a shed and had a few pieces of skin remaining, so she came up for a bath, so I hung out with her for a bit, then after her bath I got some pics of her while Victoria cleaned her cage. Can't get pics to capture her real colors, she is a beautiful yellow, but her white is more purple then pure white.

Then pics of the smaller girl on my lap is one of the favorite 'grandkids', beautiful little Cleo.

Then last visit today was with the jerk in the group... Victoria's new very beautiful but grumpy little turd. Think a pic or two shows him hissing at me. He really seems to dislike me, not sure if it was me wearing a bright colored yellow sweater, but he tracked me and wanted to bite my butt big time!!! Obviously not the favorite grandchild!!! :)

Beautiful!! In a firmer life i collected snakes too. Tell you a qucik story , cuz with either birds or snake, there are lots n lots of stories.
Our first snake was a common red tail boa, who we got for 50 bucks, because the pet store owner was pissed off at this snake. Why? The nite before it had gotten out and ate a $1500 cockatoo. Horrible I know. We knew it was true too , because the following day, the snake puked up a half digested white bird carcass. It had been a HUGE bulge in the snakes belly, way way too big for this snake. PS my moms didn't know we had a snake in the house for almost 3 months. She was DEATHLY afraid of them, I mean heart attack afraid, but as long as she did not see them it was OK to keep them, God bless her soul. Those are really gorgeous grandkids there! Bumese pythons? Albinos?

No burms.... we had one years ago we lost, that is where Victoria's screen name Riddick comes from.

The three are top to bottom -

Lily (Victoria corrected me that the spelling has only 1 L, bad grandmother) - Lily is a purple sunfire tiger reticulated python. She is just about 18 months now, but has only been with us a couple months. She will likely be a really big girl.

Cleo is a purple sunfire reticulated python. She is a baby at not quite 8 months old (March 2016 baby). We've had her since she was about 8 weeks old, she is a super super sweet snake.

The last butthead of a snake is not named yet, tho Grumpy might stick... he is a coral and lipstick line albino (het leopard) BCI (boa constrictor, what used to be commonly called red tail boas).

Awesome! But! Grandkids?? I have to refilm my fantasies!

Victoria is an only child and she is not exactly mother material :) She openly admits she's too selfish to be a mom... so I've come to accept my 'grandkids' will either have feathers, scales, fur or hooves (we have a horse too).

What a sweet group of grandkids, Jen! Gorgeous and plenty of character, what more do you need.

I think Victoria meant to say selfless? We know how hard your daughter works for furred, feathered, and scaled kids, her own and others! She reminds of someone....

Yes with critters... but a human child would mean less money and time for her beloved critters, in that sense she says she's too selfish. And she's better with creatures then humans, as much as I'll miss having baby to spoil, reality is she's not a natural with kids. And I joked after sitting on the floor with Lily I'd have a hell of a time on the floor with human kids all the time. The MS really reminds me it's there when I do something like that!!

I've come a long way here... I actually think that little hissing stinker is CUTE!

This is a favorite grandson :10: this is Roy, he is the first Chinese Beauty snake Victoria found. He is just an awesome snake, if a snake can be funny and enjoy hanging out, this is the guy. She reminds me they don't have human emotions but still say Roy likes being around people. He gets into everything, amazing how they grip and grab!

I like snakes a lot. I'm drawn to poisonous ones, very drawn, but I know I'm too careless ever to indulge. I much admire the little wood boas. Anybody have any experience with them? Also called dwarf boas? Genus Tropidophis, I believe.

Actually my favorite, as far as looks, is a venomous snake, a gabino (hybride gaboon and rhino viper). They are just amazingly gorgeous and vivid pattern / color snakes, in person they look like stained glass. Would never have one, I enjoy going to the shows to see them, but not crazy enough to live with one! :)

Victoria has dwarf boas, but she said not wood boas, they are taraharuma or Mexico dwarf boas. I'm not overly fond of them, the one is a grumpy turd, but they remind me of rocks :) I tend to go for the beautiful colors and patterns (and the friendly ones!!).

Gorgeous gabino. I guess when you're that much of a bad-arse you can be as showy as you like.

She's cute. Seems to like touch. Actually approaches. "Smilin'"!!!
