Being new to the bird fancy, I would love to see some
Cage setups. Gyms and toys you like for your bird. Anything
From foods, snacks toys etc.....

I do want a really good cage , someday.
I'm also interested in foot toys and I've seen some foraging
Items....just there are so many choices i would love to see what
You like

My older conures love anything they can shred. Paper, wood toys, rope, perches, you give name it. I like to buy them wooden toys and flavor it. Also, I give them plenty of toys at all levels so they won't stay in one spot. Nothing specific for them, just anything they can chew. So I change it up all the time. They are cage content though and very bonded so they don't play with me. They have a huge cage outside under my carport and a smaller cage inside for climbing all over and sleeping.
I hope to be able to venture out with my new baby because she was handfed and is not bonded to another bird, so she will be more into the things I can teach her with my hands. I'll be learning all these new things too. :)

Gilbert loves toys of all kinds but his favorites are pinatas and the ball of cane (with pine cone center). In his cage I have a perch going the entire width, plus some shorter ones placed at different heights, with a large rope perch bent into a curve from the back of the cage and up the side for him to climb. He also has some ropes hanging from the top that he swings on.
He has a swing that i put in sometimes and he mostly hangs on the sides of it instead of the perch part!
I have a Kings cage and a Kings T stand, as well as a small table top perch. I would like to get a small java tree and/or gym for him because he is so fond of climbing and swinging upside down.
For food, i am trying to get him to enjoy Harrisons. He prefers Roudybush. I give him a mix of these two for now. His favorite fresh foods are carrots, cabbage, beans, brussels sprouts, broccoli, corn and naturally any fruit i give him. (i am a vegetarian who eats tons of veggies but i don't care for fruit so he basically only eats it when i have it in the house). He also ADORES pasta but i have to limit the amount i put in his bowl because he will fill himself on pasta and then not eat the veggies. He also likes hard boiled egg a lot too. But i really can't think of anything Gilbert won't eat!! These are just the standard things we have together.
Anyhow, a couple pics of his favorite toys:

Him come out on his own...... He is very social so far and I'm just
Reinforcing trust every day.....

I like having a playpen near the window so my guys can get sun and take a look at the goings on outside. And being in the sun they love to perch there after bathing. This is the best picture that I have of it.

Pre-assembled ones like this can be a little expensive but it is not hard to design and build your own to suit your needs. Tootsie and Rosco spend a lot of time on it when they are out. And it is a destination for the both of them to fly back and forth from their cages and get exercise. Rosco especially will make the flight a couple dozen or so round trips a day.

ruffledfeathers, I have that same cage for my Senegal. I really like it. Very solid construction with good access for setting up perches/toys. I especially like the little removable door on the side which I am assuming is for a nest box. It makes a great way to let Sidney out when I'm on the couch and am too lazy to get up to open the upper or main doors. Someday when I need to invest in another cage I will get that same type.

Yes, i have been really happy with that cage. I bought it in 2001 for Georgie (it was the cage she was living in at the vet's office actually, so i ordered the same one so she would feel at home). Anyhow it still looks brand new.
I love that play stand you have. I have a standard T stand with the stainless tray and food bowls, and I think Gilbert would appreciate a good climbing play gym like that. He is kind of a monkey. Ane he also adores looking out the window.

Ruffled feathers--- gilbert looks greats. I haven't seen a pic of him in a while. He looks very comfy sitting atop his cage by the wobbly

Wobbly balls are pritti's favorite type of toy these days. Loose ones and hanging chain toys with various size wobblys. Actually he loves rolling and grabbing and throwing all kinds of balls.

Also loves a full roll of paper towels. There is a photo in my album of him with one, but i can't seem to insert it with my ipad right now.

WannaBeAParrot--Thanks. Gilbert is doing well. He is so comical. That toy was from the Easter Bunny. ;) He completely destroyed the last one he had. It hangs in his cage and he chews pieces off and rolls around on the floor chattering to them. It makes me laugh and always worth buying another toy to encourage entertaining me by having so much fun!! heehee
