Usually, when the flock starts getting out of character I can attribute it to something. I'd say 98% of the time it's definitely weather related, fronts moving in, storms, etc. There's a thread somewhere talking about barometric pressure affecting birds which my breeder and I both firmly believe in.
I'm not really asking for anything here advice wise, just making observations is all.
Today has been one of those 2% times I don't know why. I came back from grocery shopping today and my wife told me Miri got hard to handle while I was gone. She went to put her up preparing for me to bring in groceries when I got home, Miri was being totally wacko and she had to end up using a sheet to put her up.
A little later, we brought the Zon's into the office like usual and they were acting psycho, actually even biting the wife on the ear as well. They got put up pretty quick. Then after that, I went to get the GW's and bring them into the office. ReaRea was in full tilt play mode, but not in her usual way, I couldn't get her to quit biting me (not painful, no broken skin, etc.) but she was relentless. Then it was Miri, she would NOT leave ReaRea alone and it was getting out of hand, and I'd had enough. Miri was in her "I ain't going in that cage" stages and I was really having to tell her "no" to her beak threats. It was no big deal to me, I'm just trying to figure out what caused this in 4 birds all of a sudden. :31:
And after all that, I wasn't EVEN gonna get the Hahn's out.
