We bought zupreem fruit pellets in what was said to be the conure size (the bag that has a photo of an african grey on the front says it's also for conures). It seems a bit large to me for a green cheek but maybe I'm wrong. So my question for zupreme buyers is: What size of pellet do you find works best for your conure? I was also wondering if you've tried the natural flavor as well and how that went over? Which flavor does your conure like more? Our local pet store does not have the smaller size natural in stock so I'd need to order online-which is why I'm asking. What size and which flavor is preferable and why? Thanks so much to anyone who has a conure and can answer me.

I don't buy Zupreem but I have in the past for my sun conure. She personally preferred more coarse pellets and preferred the natural to the fruit. (I think because her main food was Harrison's coarse, so anything closer to that seemed normal to her.)
My blue crown kept refusing the coarse and insisted on the fine.
So my personal experience is that they let you know which one they prefer!

Pumpkin (GCC) eats zupreem natural in the cockateil size. They are too small for him to hold though and he seems to want to hold onto them with his feet, so maybe the bigger size would be better. Let me know. :)

That is the size I get in Zupreem. I also get the conure size natural pellets and mix them together. I am gping to try some cockatiel size natural pellets to mix in too, but I have a sun conure, not a green cheek.

My gcc only eats the tiniest pellets and still hates them. Harrison fine was way too large for him. Anything conure size he wouldn't even look at. I guess it's the matter of personal taste. :)

Mine is eating his pellets when in his cage because that's all I'll give him there. He gets out first thing in the morning and gets fresh foods like kale, raspberries, and grapes which is all he'll eat right now. Then I move him to my massive play gym thingy and he eats the store's seed mixture he was on while with them (because he's used to it and wants that the most). Then I put him back in his cage where he munches the pellets. It seems like he eats half and drops the rest which is why I wondered if they were too big.

Pumpkin chews his pellets into a fine powder onto the floor, so there is still a lot of waste with this size as well.

My Yellow Sided GCC Max loves the Roudybush Crumbles.

We went back and forth on pellet size given conflicting information but essentially found on the Roudybush site that the smaller pellets were likely to yield less waste (seems especially true on our bird who lived on seed before we got her) but either of the smaller sizes would be OK.
