Kenji loved it, Rosie told me what she thought by carefully dropping it on the floor. Tomorrow I'm going to try giving the same, but chopping it up first.

LOL

Her vet said she is no longer allowed to have any grains(other than what is in her pellets and raw corn) and to try giving her less variety of fresh foods and just give her a few things she likes for now.

If my birds dislike something they throw it at me!!! LoL...

Do yours gets mad while doing it or seeing it as something fun to do? I've got birds of both kinds...lol

Haha that's too funny!! After every one, she stops and looks at you like, "Green, yuck. Red, yuck. Crunchy, yuck. Squishy, yuck. Where's the food?" Lol

I think Rosie flings her pellets just to look for a pellet that looks a certain way lol she flings them all over then randomly stares at one before eating it.

LOL That made me laugh, I can totally imagine her saying that!

You don't know how much that makes me laugh, because it reminds me so much of my birds. They are so cheeky and inventive. Especially Larry. The other two are alright, but Larry, he throws food everywhere, unlocks everyones cages, he even undoes screws. SCREWS!!, He takes his cage apart. :)

Haha! Quincy loves tossing food! Savannah doesn't generally but I think she is learning quickly from Quincy! :D

LOL adorable- Lola's a food thrower too. She was on store brand seeds and nuts diet that is mainly sunflower seeds and peanuts- eeek, I know. So we are switching her to pellets and she makes it very clear sometimes that she is NOT happy about it! She throws out certain ones as she digs through hoping to find something better, and eventually will pull the dish out and toss it on the floor. Def one of her brattier qualities, but you still can't help but see the cuteness in it!

OMG, she's so dang cute and funny! This had me laughing and in tears. Rosie is so cheeky!

It does appear that she looks your way a couple of times and PAUSES...PAUSES! Just so you understand, lol, before she very deliberately tosses out those veggies, one by one. Smart girl.

Tossing food down is part of parrots ecological niche so they do it even when they like something but it's not so bad when you put the food on a paper plate at the bottom of the cage -except for greens, they like those better if they are high up.
