What parrot would you most enjoy seeing a documentary on?

Now that I have completed my DVD series on Australian parrots I was wondering what species would folks like to sit down in the comfort of their own home and watch a documentary on? I know I was asked to produce a documentary on Gouldian finches for example. Since many parrot species are not covered well or we have little information on what would be your pick?

Love your posts! I would like to see (can you guess?) amazons. There are so many species, such beautiful colors. I would really love to see them in their natural habitat. I don't know alot about eclectus, that would be interesting too.

Since I was only in Australia for 6 months I had limited time to concentrate on any one species. So what I ended up with was an overview of 50 species. Not sure if it helps but just a quick overview for some folks who posted on requests to see certain species.
There is about 3 min on Eclectus, 5 min on both Major Mitchells and Rose-breasted Cockatoos. 5 min on Black Palm cockatoo and of course short sections on all of the others as well.

I think a South American adventure would be fantastic as per comments for some of those species ie Amazons etc. I do have footage of Green-cheeked Amazon and Scarlet Macaws but I think I could be kept very busy filming for the rest of my days! :09:

There are loads of black cockatoo species
Yellow tailed black cokatoo
Red tailed black cockatoo
Glossy black cockatoo
Palm cockatoo
Carnaby's black cockatoo
Etc.


I'd like to see budgies in the wild
The only wild ones I've seen are wild-caught ones at a bird fair. Poor things were all huddled in the corner freaking out, so I'd like to see them flying free.

Of course we all want to see our own bird's species in a doc. I for one would love to see the African Greys (CAG/TAG). They really do have an interesting history both in the wild, captured and companion. The talking studies are only a bonus. Lots of material to get into on this bird.

I have to pick a caique, any of the species is fine with me.
I find them really fascinating.
I just did my own little survey about them to try and learn more about their behaviors.
They are still fairly new to the parrot world as far as being owned as pets.
On the caique site I belong to, I find that about 80% of them are five years of age or younger....a few are up to ten years of age....there was a member there once that had one that was twenty...I really wanted to pick their brain but they never post so I haven't learned anything new.
Caiques are called "the clown" of the parrot world and although this is true, they are so much more complicated then that.
Opps, sorry for getting carried away....my bad...........

I'm afraid they're in the same area you've been in, but I'd love to see a documentary on the mostly highly endangered of all parrots, the Kakapo from New Zealand. In fact, a documentary on endangered wild parrots would be very interesting to me as a bird lover.
