Sooo my black milk that came in Tuesday:54:They start out banded and fade to black as they get older. If you look at her all her scales that are not already black are tipped in black right now.

The really new one that arrived this morning...again I have no self control... he is a white sided rat snake.

Oh everyone has names now except for those two new ones that came in this week....

So this is Ivy she is the motley sunglow corn.

A group shot of the now old guys...

The light one is Eve the Axanthic Blonde Phase Trans-Pecos Ratsnake and the other is Ivy again.

The butter cornsnake was named Riddick Jr and the striped bloodred was named Cordelia.

They're gorgeous!!! I used to keep snakes, but I prefer pets who remind me when they are hungry. ;). I really love their silky bodies... So smooth... And your guys are beautiful. I can't wait to see the black milk as he gets older!

Thanks:D I actually have reminders on my ipad about the feeding schedule makes it much easier!

I almost didn't get the black milk since their ad disappeared right after I emailed them so I thought they were sold out. So I contacted another breeder about the white sided....a day after I emailed that breeder the black milk one reappeared....so of course I had to buy the black milk and the white sided breeder wasn't contacting me back....and I had that money set aside....so I contacted another breeder for a different snake....than the white sided breeder got back to me right before that new breeder got back to me....so I bought the white sided and am probably getting that last snake from the last breeder end of June or early July. So the moral of this story don't let me contact people or talk to snake breeders:p

After that last possible one I will probably try to have self control until I get at least 3 more adult sized cages since they are about 365 each I can't buy too many at once. I'm thinking of buying one end of June and than mother said she will buy me one at the same time since she owes me one as a very late birthday present that she never bought.

It's too bad you are so far away! I have a four foot, sliding front snake cage with removable divider and built in heating system I am trying to unload on the cheap before I move to Honduras.

Victoria, you are officially the forum's snake lady :). They're all so gorgeous. Love the colors and their names. Wow, the corns are sure getting big fast! Are they in a bucket of water? Is that a snake bath? Lol, forgive my ignorance!

She has MSS bad! :D

Wow they are beautiful! It looks like you have a bucket of spaghetti from how many snakes you have there LOL.

So nice! I used to keep snakes, but when I reached the point where there were more loose in the walls than in the cages, I knew it was time to stop!

I really do have MSS.... I can't stop:32:

My female striped bloodred just would not slow down when it came to growing. I had to feed her more or she got too skinny. She looks much older than she is size wise....I expect her to be a very big corn in the end since she isn't even done growing yet.

Yes I occasionally soak them even though they probably don't need it except for the little ones. The bigger corns have water bowls they can fit in....but I still soak them all for some reason. I wanted to soak them all that day but was too lazy to do it multiple times.....so I went with the more difficult route of trying to get 4 squirming snakes in one little bucket....mother has video...it really was amusing though I succeeded in the end:D

That would have been useful! I have a ball python that would be perfect for....I know people in Texas but not really sure when the next time they are coming up are and I doubt I could I convince them to drive up instead of fly.

Wow, they are all so gorgeous! Makes me miss having snakes:( That Milk snake is stunning, and makes me remember that old rhyme: Red next to black, poisons lack, red next to yellow can kill a fellow:)
Great looking hair tie!
