Gravelly voices at best. Some are pretty decent talkers, but don't expect an African Grey-esque voice out of those cuties. My GCC is two and she only says two phrases:
- what's up baby?
- step up!
Other than that she grumbles in her own voice, chirps, whistles, and makes silly noises.

Tell us more! Are you planning to bring this GCC home? They may not be the best talkers but I think GCC's are beautiful little birds and from what I've heard, most are very affectionate and playful.
You never know with the talking ,mines male and talks a lot for his species I think . I was surprised and didn't expect it. But my sunconure just says a couple words.
That my friend is a bird given to us by the heavens! it is a green cheek conure! The most amazing bird whom I love! I have one, she was given to my by an Angel! lol ok I got her at an animal shelter.. Same thing right? Anyways, amazing birds and they do talk but not too well, they really aren't known for their talking ability. Lilo says pretty bird. Once she called me momma. That is when I decided to give her everything that has to do with birds! So if i haven't made it clear, most amazing birds ever IMO.
I have to be careful with mine, he's super possessive of me. My husband comes near and he grumble talks and bites actual holes in my shirt when he's on my shoulder. He'll attempt to attack anyone who gets near me. I have an area set up for him and I put him down when he starts it. They can be possessive of their chosen person and view anyone coming near as a threat.
Sweet birds but can be nippy. I met one at a Petsmart she was sweetish but when the lady went to take her off my shoulder she laid into my ear. For such a tiny bird they pack a punch but over all fun birds.
