I want to know what everyone's favorite trick they've taught their bird is, and if you feel like explaining it, how did you teach them?

My favorite thing I've ever taught my bird is to answer the question "Who's a good bird?" with "Tori bird!"

I more or less waited until "Tori bird" was his favorite word (He switches favorite words quite often) and would ask "Who's a good bird" and when he said "Tori" or "Tori bird" after, I would give him a treat. He picked up on what I wanted really quickly, and now I can get him to answer when ever I ask.

That's cute. I only had one bird who talked and honestly i didn't teach any of it to him (well naturally i taught him, but passively....)
Percy learned to say "good boy", and one day when i heard him saying it i thought 'he talks?' After that, he was a complete chatterbox.
Georgie used to 'brush her teeth' and i half taught her that. Again, she picked it up because i would brush my teeth in front of her cage in the morning and she would stare. One day she saw me get my toothbrush and held out one toe and brushed it back and forth in her beak. It was so funny i tried to make her do it again, and eventually she would do it when i said "brush your teeth".
Gilbert doesn't do a single 'trick' at this point. He is just calm and compliant and playful. (He steps up and will lay in my hand and give kisses, but nothing that really seems like a 'trick', more like normal, tame pet bird things.) I suppose i should start challenging him........?

lol what are you talking about? "calm compliant and playful" is the best trick in the book! XD
That's so adorable that your bird mimics you brushing your teeth! >.<
