You can only choose one and it has to be the most insane one! Most days I really feel like I've crossed the line between being bird crazy to being just plain crazy. So help me feel 'normal' and share your darkest secrets! I'll start:

I put a light blanket over my head and shoulders and run from room to room flapping my arms, with Boomer in tow. We do this at least once a day to make Boomer feel like we are flying as a flock. I think my neighbor might have seen me once or twice.

Your turn! :propeller

LMAO, well my crazy thing isnt even CLOSE to yours, Boom Boom! That is hilarious to imagine, I think we need a video clip to get the full impact of it, lol!

My crazy thing is, I take my birds for bike rides. I have a mesh basket on my bike, and i put a towel in there, and a piece of branch for a perch. Then I have a small piece of screen that I bungee cord over the top of the basket. They seem to like it, specially when the fresh air is blowing on them...I always feel like a crazy bird lady when I do this, lol.

As soon as I get some extra $$, i'm going to get one of those birdy back packs so I can take them everywhere!

Do they screech when you have them on the bike? I want to be able to do that but Boomer screeches so that the entire street is looking at me. It gets me very self conscious lol!

ROTFLMAO!!!! That was perfect BoomBoom. That was hilarious to read :D

Geez... Me? Well, I have to think of anything crazy I do with birds... Crazy WITHOUT birds well yeah, but I don't want to bore you with an extremely long list :)

I would have to say it is playing with new toys with my nose to try to get them to play (especially for Dex and Darwin). Mine is not nearly as funny as yours, BoomBoom and I so appreciated the laugh! I do agree, we need video!!!

Only one? Well, I only need one, and I'm sure if any of you would ever see me or hear me do it, you'd call those folks who show up with a straight jacket. :54:

I "party" with my fids on a daily basis. Need I really explain? Ok, fine. I put on my favorite 80s music (BEE GEES) and dance and sing while at least one bird is on me. It's like a crazy concert, with wings flapping, heads bopping, and >this< crazy lady thinking she's SO hip. :30:

No, there will NEVER be any videos of that, I promise! :09:

I am LOL'ing for reals, reading these posts! :D

BoomBoom, they don't screech when on a bike ride, but even if they did, it wouldn't be that loud. Now that I think about it, when we're riding, i'm so busy talking to them while we ride, I SHOULD be embarassed if anyone sees me!

It is definitely difficult to come up with only a single crazy thing, although yours is pretty crazy funny BB. So here goes-- while Pritti is on a glasstop table, I get underneath it and put my face up to the other side of the glass. It's so funny... he can't seem to figure out why he can't kiss me or get at my hair, etc.

I love to dance and sing with the birds. They love it.

Well Loki loves to swing but not by himself lol he likes for his mommie to grab his little feet and he holds one and he flips himself upside down and I swing him in beetle my leg all the while we are both screaming WEEEEeE !!! And when he gets to the top of my head he yells yahhhhhhh !!!! Sometimes we swing around to music to lol

My "craziest" thing isn't really that crazy, but I know my parents always laugh at me... When a song I like comes on, I start singing along and I bob my head all around. My lovebird tries to imitate me, so it's looking right at me with its poker face, and it is attempting to move its head all around. It's not crazy, but it's cute. :)

Bacci loved music, and loved to ride in the car. So every once in a while, I would take him for a ride, and crank up the radio, and he would sit on my arm and we would sing (yell) along to the music. We would (of course) change all the lyrics to be about birds.

"Sing Us A Song, You're the Piano Man" became "Sing Us A Song, You're An Amazon"
"Band On The Run" became "Bird On My Arm"
"Baby We Were Born To Run" became "Birdie We Were Born To Run"

And there were many many others I can't think of right now, but we had a blast, and other drivers definitely thought we were nuts.
