Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
..does any one else fids like/dislike when your trying to talk on the phone??

I don't know what it is with BB..any time I am on the phone he goes nuts.
Sitting on my shoulder as I try to talk,he starts in with everything he knows
First,he tells the person on the other end "BB a good boy?" then its "Hi..I'm BB"...then a BUNCH of "what are you doing??"..and if I try to talk OVER him..well forget THAT! he just gets louder..and of course its right in my ear!
Of course the other party is LOL'ing, getting a big kick out of it. Usually I end up telling Beebs to be quiet and remove him from my shoulder, only for him to RUN back up my arm and start in again..then he is not happy til I hang up :51: What a goof ball he is.

Then there was "the cockatoo man" Jonesy..he got REAL loud..but he had a bad potty mouth and ended up embarrassing me bad..The cable tv guy couldn't believe it was a "parrot" talking...thought it was a young kid lol..

Amy...ehhh..she could care less..so,any one elses kids get into the phone??

The Rbird hates phones, remotes, cameras... all small things that have buttons and stuff. Always, always has... I don't know why.
We have to hide all such things or he chews the button and knobs off. I can't EVEN talk on the phone when he's loose.

Ramsay my IRN just chews the heck out of them

Really?

I am the center of this World, anything that in anyway takes or sets aside in the smallest way my position is to be Amped upon with ever louder comments from me.

Anything, especially anything with neat color buttons on them is assumed to be by automatic decree mine.

Anything that takes your attention from is rightful place 'me' is likewise decreed mine.

You: But its my phone and I'm the leader of this flock!

Your timing is psychic! He just woke up from his afternoon nap and started raising Hades up there in his palatial estate!!!!!!

I don't have a problem with the phone, but rather the earpiece worn during the conversation. They always try to snag the connecting wire to the phone. Otherwise, they have learned to see the phone as a bizarre source of attention. I'll play various bird videos and watch their crests rise, and occasionally see the wings flutter. Also fun to use the front camera and see themselves gawk at that "strange" bird on the screen! I can stimulate Gonzo my BFA into talking by playing him his own video with the sound cranked up!

Smokey was the same way...ANYTHING with a plastic/rubbery button on it was history..can't even remember how many "universal" remotes I bought in the years coz of her obcession with them...she'd even climb moms' recliner to get her beaky on it

Anything in my possession Nigel must have. It Is surely his. Is there a problem with this?

Just saw all my typos! It was because Nigel was trying to take the phone again.

After all, this is Nigel's world.

Depends. If I have the phone on speaker and its one of my parents or someone he recognizes, sometimes he goes crazy and I have to go into the bathroom. He seems to recognize their voices and wants them to know hes there!

Oh yes, Buddy starts his tirade. The last few days he's been extremely vocal, demanding food for Thanksgiving preparation.

Mine just want to physically chew on my phone whether I'm taking on it or not

Baby will get loud when I'm on the phone. I think he just wants to join in because when I put the phone up to him he starts whistling. I usually have to go in another room. But he loves looking at his reflection in my phone. He loves buttons because he chewed half of my keys off my old laptop.
