10 Years ago cardboard tubes were the death of your bird in Yahoo Groups! It's intersting how the terminologies change or come about over the years. When I first discovered that online groups for parrots even existed in about 2005, it was Yahoo Groups! I was active on several parrot Yahoo Groups. I had never even heard the word "chop" then. Or "mash".. No one called it that. I guess it was just referred to as "vegetables" or veggies and fruit?? Idk, LOL.
Can anyone relate? Had anyone heard of it referred to as "chop" 10 or so years ago?
So you did the Yahoo Groups too?! I didn't even know forums existed then haha. Since Facebook came about, I think the Yahoo Groups pretty much died out like the dinosaurs...

Facebook? Yes, we also have a family photo album. Is that what you mean?
Kidding, but- didn't realize Facebook had groups like that!So you did the Yahoo Groups too?! I didn't even know forums existed then haha. Since Facebook came about, I think the Yahoo Groups pretty much died out like the dinosaurs...

I just meant those 'Yahoo Groups' went away or seriously lost popularity as Facebook groups became more popular...
What you need is more fids..... My galah loves it, the others not so much. Just keep acquiring more until you get someone who likes it . (yes, I'm kidding.)and then find out that your fids wouldn't eat it

"Chop" is when you spend 30 min cutting into small pieces fruits and veggies, maybe adding some crushed nuts and cooked quinoa/amaranth etc, mixing it all up to look super yummy, and then find out that your fids wouldn't eat it and just scream for the seed! LOL Hope there are not too many "chop loosers" like me here.
My last lot took days..... I bought all of these veges and then couldn't find the "thingie" for the lid of the food processor....Mine only takes 5 minutes
