So I've bought Albie this and at first it took his several hours to figure out how to get the tasty snacks from it. Now he's figured out if he bashes it a few times he can knock the toy and most of the stuff will fall to the bottom of his cage. I fill it maybe 2x a week but he checks it several times a day.

So any suggestions on what I can put in it that will make him work for his treats? I'm currently drawing a blank with it.

"rusk" crackers-- walmart babyfood section (they are non fortified and safe-- I have done banana and apple), or Wasa cracker bits? It's wood, so I'd avoid wet stuff.

Plain popcorn, make sure your popcorn maker is safe not nonstick or anything thst might off gass. I don't know what models are safe my friend makes some and brings it to me. So I dont have to worry about safety. Mine love plain popcorn

Yiu could probably put nutri berries in that

Albie does like some popcorn, and I can easily make it on the hob so I think I'll give it a try

Have you tried some veggies, whatever you can get in it hun really. I just got a bamboo lid type forager from Scarlett but my boy is not so brave atm. :)

Put a bud of millet in it the stuff small peices of paper in it so he has to pull it out to get the millet.
