So while Skittles is very territorial when it comes to me (not sharing me with anyone else etc), he's not territorial toward me. I can easily stick my hand in his cage, I can grab him and hold him in my hand etc. (Not that I do that regularly, just saying I can- I normally put my hand in his cage and he climbs right on.
But he does something in his sleep cage at night if I put my hand in it after he is already in it (for example put him in his sleep cage and then change his water etc).
Anyways, this thing he does, he'll backwalk into a corner, stick his tail in the air, crouch down and rapidly flap his wings. He has been doing this on and off for a few weeks now and I am just wondering what it is.
I thought it was some form of aggression at first, but if that were the case wouldn't he attack my hand when I put in near him? He doesn't attack me, so I don't know what he's trying to say or even what he is doing. Any ideas?
