anyone got experience with this species before ?

I have to say... thats a scary looking parrot.. If I encountered that anywhere I think Id be running for the hills... or insisting that the person put it away, Please!

.... yea.. thats a scary bird... I never thought Id say I would be afraid of a parrot, but.. yea.. Id be afraid of that one.

That parrot is amazing looking.

What a cruncher on him!

One of my favorite parrots appearence-wise. I also really like the Gang-gang.

Ha! I met one once and had him on my shoulder for lunch. Really, I didn't see that sign that said 'Do not touch - I bite!'
It was in Queensland at a croc farm.

braver then I am. im looking at the picture thinking no way in *#($ Would you catch me near him.

Though dont get me wrong, Hes kool looking, absolutely beautiful, but its the same feeling I get when I see a tiger. you know the feeling "oooh, Pretty! now.. hide!" .

I would KILL to be able to have a Gang Gang. They may be the most beautiful of all parrots (I know, I know...but I love subtle colors most of all).

I had to go look up the gang gang for curiosity. Beautiful bird!

In the US red tails are very rare and can sell for $40,000.
