Well, I need to ask this ...

Ok, so I know POOP is one of the things that goes along with owning a parrot ... but really, I don't understand where IT ALL COMES FROM!

Ham is only 104 grams ... I think he must POOP half his weight in a day ... seriously, if I POOPED THIS MUCH the local sewage treatment plant would come and hunt me down!

I swear, the smallest thing sets his guts-a-churnin':

"YEAH, I'M AWAKE!!" --- plop.
"YEAH it's BREAKFAST TIME!!" --- plop.
"YEAH IT'S TIME TO PREEN" --- plop
"Sad, you have to go to work, bye!" --- plop
"YEAH, YOU'RE HOME!!" --- plop
ETC, ETC, ETC ...

I mean, we aren't talkin' little poops here, we are talkin' decent poops (ok, I guess to those of you who have BIG BIRDS these would be little poops, it's all relative here folks) ... Keep in mind all the poops are consistant in color and consistantcy (ewww...) so I am not concerned about his health, but really can a bird poop too much?

Sidney poops when he comes out of his cage he tries to not go in is smaller cage "home" so when I take him out he get put on the play gym for a couple minutes to take care of buisness his cage is soo much easier to clean than Misty's also - he grabs a handfull of food then sits in the middle of the cage to eat it!

:18: Popsicle is the exact same way. She is only 115 grams and she poops about every 20 minutes and some of those are pretty big for her size. I think the smaller birds poop more often then the bigger birds but I could be wrong, but thats the way my two are. I swear how much comes out of her, she should be eating 10 times as much as she does. I don't know where it comes from.

If you ever find out where it all comes from maybe you could let me know. Bucc also goes about every 20 mins or so, but I swear the little guys are going every 20 seconds. okay maybe not quite that often. I'm pretty sure that all 9 of the little fellas goes one after the other, it seems that they are going all day. :18: Hmmmmmmm wonder if there's a market for Bird Manure. I could make a fortune. :18:
