Just brought the new Sun Conure recruits home last night!

About 2 weeks old (Could be mistaken, as I've never had baby Sun Conures in the past.

These guys are so adorable

It's been a while since I hand fed (Used to be my profession) But its like riding a bicycle it seems, came back instantly! And OH did it feel good!

I need name Suggestions!!!

I like Chewbacca, and maybe Tiberius, but id love suggestions from ya'll!

Also considered Apollo for the irony.

I like irony.

Wish me luck please!!

Awesome suggestions guys! This is always the hardest part for me. Naming a companion is one tough choice since we both have to live with it for the next 45-60 years (Yes i said 45-60 not 15-30 because i am determined to prove that with excellent care, attention and proper diet Parrots (Sun conures in this case) can live well beyond their "Average lifespan" of 15-30 years)

By the way, i just had 4 baby lovebirds unloaded on me today, so ive got some work in store for me!!

I will be looking to home 3 of the 4 baby lovebirds as soon as their done weaning (unless the buyer is experienced in hand feeding.) And i will most likely be homing one of the sun conures, as i do not want to bite off more than i can chew.

Hopefully i can find some awesome humans to pair these birds with.

I bet i'll have more fun taking the photo's and bragging about my new Owners!

I've been so excited these last 2 days its unbelievable. I'm just so not used to waking up at 6am to hand feed.

(I Feed them around 7:30 but I'm the type of guy who cannot function in the AM without a shower shave and coffee)

Still undecided. This is the hardest time i've had coming up with a name. I keep going back to Chewbacca and Boba Fett. But that's hardly original.. Not that original is important. Apollo is too hard to say without getting myself tongue tied when i talk high pitched. I want some awesome Sun Conure names.. It's starting to depress me

if your are in to the scifi or sort of astro based names, have you considered hubble, like the telescope. personally i think cyrill would make a great name for a sun conure

But i think im going to go with Boba and Fett, because Star Wars has always been a really fond childhood theme for me, and it has a large part of my heart

An update - So the conures are doing great, but the four 3 week old lovebirds are so hard to feed, they are not bobbing at all and its making it very time consuming
